Sad time of the year in the 1000 Islands

[QUOTE=1000 islander;4006123]Was a sad time last weekend. That time of year when they start dropping the water level on the river and we can no longer park at the dock up at camp. One last ride on the St. Lawrence on a gorgeous fall day and then yanked her out on Sunday morning and brought her home. Hoping to get a few rides in on Oneida Lake in the next couple weeks before stuffing her in the barn for the winter before we head to Key West a month from today for race week. I'm jealous of you guys that can boat year round, but hey......snowmobile season is almost upon us and I have a pump gas 240 hp turbo that will hold me over for awhile! Hell....the sled even has silent choice with one big thru hull out the side. Flip a switch and fill the tank with C-16 and we have about 340hp on tap. Almost as much fun as the boat and the stock chain and gears is a lot like a pair of Bravos behind 4bus's boat, only a matter of time!

I just put my boat away for the winter as well. I am looking forward to the riding season.
Add another 2013 Turbo here.
4bus,
You should bring your buddies and sleds out this way (Sacandaga) this winter. They have poker runs every weekend and there are some fantastic trails off the lake. We should hook up and ride.

It's never a sad time of year for us northerners... Pull out the atv's to pacify the time until the snow flies.
On a different note, built a 13' Nytro XTX with a MCX 270 Kit last year. I have a 14' Renegade 800 coming in a month or so and looking to put a turbo on that one as well.
Does anyone have any experience with two stroke turbos for flat-landers?

I know the Lanzi family very well and I guess you could call me a regular at their Restaurants. lol
We have a snowmobile poker run pretty much everyweekend on the lake and there are some fantastic trails to hit off the lake (Mulleyville). I also ride Canada a lot.
I bring my boat up to the 1000 Isalnds every year so next year I will have to contact you and meet up somewhere. We usually are over in Kingston (during the poker run).
Let me know if you want to come over with the sleds.
