1. How much gas that thang hold? Me.... Well on my 5th swipe and still pumping......... Jaw drop.

3. What do you do with that? ..... Me ride, make noise, tinker with it, love it, clean it, look at it, ride some more,

The number one question I get is " Is your boat sinking?" I say "yes" and just walk away!

I get a kick out of the faces people make!!!

I can see getting this question from a non-boater, but I get people with Bajas, Formulas, Fountains, etc. ask me that.

I get this all time (on land boat hasn't even seen water yet).
Them:how long is that thing, got to be 38/40 feet long?
Me: nope only 30'..
Them : no way your boat is 30', my buddy's Fountian is 35' and your boat is longer than his....
Me:

Funny, after being asked "how fast does that boat go?" and I answer, their reply is always, "On the water!!!!!!!"

I usually hear, How fast is that? then usually followed up by my friend has a 89 38 scarab with 454's and blowers it run's 100 but in the ruff water run's 110..
Or can you fish on that???
Or how much gas does that hold and how long does it last for? When you say a few hours you always get a reaction..

The snowmobile hobby is the same way.........you always hear some assclown in the bar talking about his 120 mph ten year old claptrap that wouldn't really run 90 on it's best day. You can't even argue with that kind of stupidity, because you will never win. People ask me all the time how fast my turbo Arctic Cat is and I just smile and say I don't know, maybe 100. (it has been 129 on gps) and then I sit back and listen to all the bull****. Same with my Fountain. Pop the hatches and people see 3 motors and they all think you must date or be married to a girl with the last name Shell or Exxon, then they tell you about their buddy with the Rinker that goes 85 with a small block.
