That one is pretty cool, but I think this one is a little more epic… It's Lake Havasu 2013 on 4th of July before sundown and the fireworks. Same helicopter though, DJI Phandom and Go Pro

A video in the dark, hovering over anchored boats is more epic?

Are the helos water-resistant? Or with some strategic 5200 could they be made at least dryer?
I'd have an rc boat in the bag with a big hook to throw in and go snag it if it crashed.

Doesn't seem like anyone with the skill level of that guy would even think about it.

We accidentally fley his into my pool and it was OK. The big question I have is salt water... anybody know if they are sealed? What happens if I land it in the ocean? Looked everywhere, cant figure it out...

The real ticket would be to put a transponder on the boat and program the helicopter/drone to follow the boat from a set altitude and distance. You could have a drone follow you for an entire poker run, er race; er whatever we call them nowadays.

How long will they fly on each charge?
Can you see what the video is recording in real time or do you go by the position of the helo and just WAG it ? Seems like be hard to know what you are recording, especially at long distances not being able to determine front from side of help view.
