Question about people.
#71
I agree that people should be nice and treat others the the way they would like to be treated. I am all for the Golden Rule.
My point was that you should not judge someone based on a snap shot of who they are at that time. I am actually a pretty friendly guy at the lake and on the ramp. I am relaxed enough that I will talk to people and help out. That being said there are times that I am sure I would be short and try and move on.
The guy in the Fountain could be a real jerk or just had a lot on his mind, I don't think in one encounter you can really tell.
Would you want someone to judge you based on a snap shot in time? I don't know you I.C.U but I am sure I could find some pretty ugly snap shots you, we all have them LOL :-)
Happy New Years to everyone and let the new year be the year of no judgement on people at the ramp :-)

This 8 pages started because I.C.U.looking didn't think he was being responded to properly, when he tried to talk to a guy in a "big" boat ...wgaf...I just move along with my life .BTW ,'im always in a good mood and will talk to anyone about whatever .You never know what someone else has just gone through .I find anyone I talk to as an equal ,treats me the same .We are all in this short game of life together ......Don't worry be happy and quit worrying about someone not acting like you would like them to.......sheese

Let me let everyone know, I am not sweating this fool. This was meant to be a simple question of how do you treat people or "strangers". It was more of a gauge. I see now some of you, I would personally not hang with. Ill end it there.
To be honest I could have guessed the responses here before I posted it. Some people are absolutely transparent.
Happy new year!!!!

I agree some people just think they are better then everyone else. I see it all the time ya I'm still young and don't have my own High performance boat yet but I have been boating all my life and I'm out on them all the time and have got the chance to drive more then most older people have in there hole life. But if I try to talk or to make friends with people that have this type of boats and I'm not on one they think they are better or something I just don't get it.
Hey Junior..... nice attitude.......but......
