I was on that run as well. Shot some video with my GoPro and if you watch the vid it looks like a 1-2' chop, yet it was rough. As we got close to the turn in at Duck Key it got so rough that the 39 Top Gun I was running with disappeared between the waves a few times.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to tell wave height from a video. I agree if you look at the waves it doesn't look all that rough, but look at high the nose of that boat is launching. That boat is 46' long, you think a 4' wave will do that? Have you ever actually been in a 46 Cig?

I don't know if the waves were 8' of not, but it sure looks rough. If the guy who was there says they were 8', who am I to say that they weren't? And I never met Scott Shogren, but I have to believe he has driven a boat once or twice and knows how the trim button works.

What!?!? Scott knows how to drive a boat? Thats just crazy talk buddy , I think he only sells Bass boats and pontoons in that big showroom

The 10 page minimum for brand-based heckling has been met....
And I'm going with Bayliner. The spongy hull sides give it the plushest ride! LMAO

Not the biggest waves for a 47 Apache, but nicely done none the less.
