Hey Dan Great talking with tonight
Thanks again for letting me try that prop
What is the determining factor when choosing the tab size and location ?
Also you mention the balancing of the boat i'm guessing your referring to the CG ? If so where are you placing it ? Mines 87" from the transom about 10" in front of the harmonic balancer
Again trying to sort out this 28' single engine big HP #5 drive with a two speed
thanks again

1 tiny bump on 1 and boat jumped to side,,,,too hard to fine tune and agrivating
nothing more agrivating than keep bumping tabs to get right spot
even tried 6 volt reducer to slow down pumps
cut off 6" down to 16" and lots better at 40-70 crusing speeds in some slop
nothing worse than boat changing drastically with a milisec bump
long tabs on short boat,,,,,,
btw ,,,,did a great job on the speedster

Are those tabs longer than the standard merc long tabs? If so who makes them and how long are they?

Nope they are standard 300 s tabs from Merc. And as far as the record that class is long gone but it would be fun!
