How do you thing one would run with one of the new 300R V8 Mercurys? Would it need a 400 or 450 to run right?

They used to race them with twin 200 Merc's and won a lot of races. With a single 300 V-8 I think you would be in the mid 70's and with the 450 mid 80's. If you have any further questions feel free to call 949-646-9778. Regards Dan

The 32 Speedster runs around 107 with the 509 EFI's we built full staggered setup very well balanced boat. Cruise's in the 80's in any water conditions. Regards Dan
