Looking good!

To be honest I wasn't to keen on the fairing addition from the first pics of it...but I gotta say it is certainly starting to look better and better to me.

Cheers,

Dave

it doesn't look as good in the pics as in person, But it works well. And the seats don't look so tall. LOL

Took new owner out for a test run before shipping it to Seattle. 540 Merc with shorty sportmaster 82 MPH with 4 people and 60 gallons of gas. Also with the new 3 person back seat and race hatch.

Probably my all time favorite boat. Thank you very much for posting this thread and great info. If I had them money, no question I'd have one built.

Curious what you think of a big outboard on this boat? Any cost savings? Would an outboard negatively affect balance?

Also curious on layup. I assume fiberglass, no Kevlar or carbon fiber? Is the hull cored with wood or composite or is it solid glass? Can the layup be customized? Could you use a composite transom and a solid glass hull bottom, wood cored hull sides would be fine. Just dreaming of the perfect boat.

Dan, this summer Joe took me for a ride in the 26 Speedster, I absolutely love that boat, but I am more of an outboard guy...

How do you thing one would run with one of the new 300R V8 Mercurys? Would it need a 400 or 450 to run right?

How does the 32 run (in classifieds) ? Probably one of the best looking boats I've see in a long time.
