2. The fountain was purpose built vs. Outerlimits PRODUCTION 43sv.
3. When Reggie broke the record, was that "corrected for technological advancement". Laughable statement.
4. Most importantly, haters will be haters!!

Thanks for capitalizing STOCK for us 1650's......good to know they are not sneaking in a pair of Mercury 1650HO's

The Fountain that ran the kilo run was a one off boat that was built for one thing (the kilo record). All the bottoms Fountain and OL are production boats its just weight. OL built Joes boat Skater built Reggies boat. Thats not the point, the question is what design is truly safer and faster?

Good Luck to OL!

No technical facts but I think OL is going to set a new record of 189.

The current vee bottoms record holder was built, rigged and driven by fountain ! And the fact that Outerlimits needs Brian and company says a lot. There is a interview where Fiore says "someone needs to shut the old man up and I'm the one to do it ".i guess he was meaning I'll wait 11 yeArs and hire his guys to do it!

Wow, I spend a day working around the house and see that the first guess on speed was page 11.

Ok, I'll try.
Two way average 179.

For the thread 27 pages.

Both are pulled out of my A$$

Faster maybe, safer? OL are now safer ? Or have always been safer? safer than what? I am stunned that you would even write that comment about safer. Don't go down that path. Factually inaccurate. And I like OL boats but I will not support propaganda.

I am fairly certain that the Fountain record setter raced on the race course in Offshore competition after the the boat set the record in North Carolina.

I personally hope they sneak one in this week and show up at Miami with the record. I will be in the shaking-hands line that will probably be LOOOONNNG.

I was present when Reggie/Ben set the mark. When that boat went past it sucked the wind from your chest. Bad ass is a HUGE understatement.

It takes BRASS BALLS filled with Unobtanium to run those speeds In a Vee bottom when the pressure is on. I am a FAN of anyone that makes the attempt.

I was busting your balls about boats. I was calling you a brand loyal ***, which is an opinion that i've gotten from reading your posts here. One which I would bet a lot of people agree with. It's not personal. Personal would be saying something like... "Man, if you're that up tight about the word dildo you should probably get over it and learn how to **** your wife right before she leaves you."
Yea , your right. I am a brand loyal B!tch. You would be too if you had one. These Outerlimits boats are amazing. I highly recommend you go find someone that has one and go for a ride. It might change your mind.
