I was there in 2004 I watched Reggie do a smack down on everyone, I also watched the outerlimits get towed away quietly with their tail between their legs and never even tried to run for the record. Bottom line Reggie talked the talk and backed it up Mike did not. Oh and I have never really been a Fountain fan but Reggies work speaks for itself.

could and did are to different things bottom line they couldn't or they would not of gone home before it even started they were out classed then ,don't get me wrong I respect Mike and his work , but they kinda started it back then and did not c=back it up

This should be a great run,1650,s you think? bob bull was running 1350,s as a test bed for quite some time and it appears they were really 1650,s.what do you think,maybe really now 1950,s.these turbo motors are unreal in the terms of pulling power and reliability..turbos are the future I think and mercury has got them dialed in but but a lot of people think they can do more..good luck to the gang going after a new record...

Man!!! you mean it's only taken 10 years to fix that mechanical failure.HOPE it's all fixed for the NEXT go around ( Not bashing I really respect all involved) BUT it's SNOWING

they were 1700 + when testing and merc calls them 1650 Mti has been able to raise rev limit and boost from the start! I havnt got the final number but i know for a fact that i was laughed at when 1700 was brought up in KW
