IF you want a ol 37, Scott who is in northeast section has one for sale 6 drives ,I think its a 120mph boat is for sale . I will look for his oso name been off line for a while been pissed at somethings lol. but its a sweet boat and 6 drives are nice on these. I had a ride in the 1st ol built with 5 drives and that was awesome. Mike nows his craft. like I know mine.

Ive never been on a 388. From what I have heard from a couple people about them.
They don't ride very well in rough water.
At high speed, like around the century mark, chine walking is an issue?
They are a great looking boat for sure, and the quality seems to be there as well. As far as the 37 Stilletto, that's just a tough boat to beat. Great rough water ride, great handling, big cabin, big engine room, and also great looking.

As others have stated 4Bus is right on with his comparison. Who knew a Fountain guy could be so articulate. I thought all they thought about was breaking speed records and picking up chicks!
I looked at the Stiletto before purchasing the Slingshot. Excellent running boat with a lot of room in the cabin. For me it was the lines of the Hustler. Boat looks great in the water and is a blast to drive.
You will not be disappointed with either boat.

I have not been in the Hustler of question but to add a small tid bit a 37 does not tow like 2 jet skis esp in stop and go situations. I guess traveling down the e way it does. A 37 is a heavy boat and we use ours and even can sleep 4 adults, 2 in v berth and 2 on us shape couch w filler cushion. Since we use our cuddy the way we do, there is no current high perf boat being made that has the room we have. Sure the 52 OL is longer but the head room is poor.
Also at one point my boat could run 114 mph and that owners statement about this hull is if you keep putting power to it that it will simply go faster w no negative results. We down graded power for reliability. If I were to buy another boat today I would want a 42 OL as its much the same as mine except I could get a baot as new as 08 I belive.
FWIW, I think this could be a good thread w good information. Hustler 388 is an excelllent hull too.
