why in the world would you blame illmor for a "hosile" take over? shouldn't you be blaming "frank's" partner in the business? looks to me, as the article states, that this has been in the works for months now. no wrong doing on illmors part from what i can see. sounds like "frank" will do just fine when he starts back up on his OWN, or maybe he will just enjoy his retirement with his new found cash? time will tell

Illmor is a racing company so they fully understand the business. Looks like Frank has a job if he wants it and if he owned a percentage then he also got some cash to boot. Sounds like he is in good shape and he can stay on with a large company and not have to sweat the tight margins anymore. It may be a nice little break for him, only time will tell. If he doesn't want to stay he doesn't have to.

I think it would be cool to get inside a company like Ilmor which itself was born out of Cosworth talent.

Ilmor alredy has an awesome racing heritage, one that I am sure they are not done building.

I don't see how this can be anything but good news for offshore racing: another serious player in a game that could use the credibility. Ilmor stuck their toe in the Supercat waters a decade ago, and has built plenty of Dodge racing engines, so they're not coming into this blind.

Let's wait to see how this all plays out over the next eight months, and agree to meet back here in November....
