Or use the LSX platform they have developed, add boost and make some big numbers. A supercharged LSX motor would work in many superboat classes wouldn't it?

i'm sure illmor will do just fine. they are an enormous company with plenty of money behind them and all kinds of talent. it will be an addition to the high performance boat industry. businesses get bought and sold every day, i'm sure it wasn't a surprise when illmor bought in. i'm also pretty sure there was a boat load of money exchanging hands

Big business .... Well any business can be a cold game. If frank is as good as everyone says he(I'm sure he is) he will recover from this. Sounds like he has a line of costumers already!! In three years he might just say this is the best thing that has happened to him.

Been there, and had that ALMOST done to me. Got a kick a$$ lawyer, fought them tooth and nail, and got a FAIR buyout. Been on my own, (With my wife as my partner) ever since and our business has just exploded. In a weird way, it turned out to be the best thing for me, (us) in the long run. BTW,I don't know Frank, but if he is as talented as everyone here says he is, then he will recover as long as he didn't sign a non-compete while at scorpion.
