I think I may win this one.

Went to a Toyota dealer in SJ California. Talked to a mechanic. Told him the my Supra twin turbo engine was down on power and I was getting some detonation. I was advise to just turn the boost up. I just left.

I offered to drive my buddy who was in the market for a new car to all the dealerships in the area as an excuse to drive my car around which we had just got done putting a lumpy cam, heads, full exhaust etc on a few weeks prior.

Car ran great and we all know how sexy V8's sound loping through a parking lot. Well we were Iidling through a Honda dealership an as we go by one of the salesmen we can barely hear him say "service department is closed" confused I said do what? He repeated himself. I told him we were just driving through seeing what they had on the lot. He says "oh.. the way your car sounds I thought u needed the mechanic" We both instantly died laughing an drove off

Still can't get over the running the old gas out while trailering...

What do you think would have happened first?
Engine overheat and seize
or
Engine overheats and starts boat on fire
or
both of the above?
Overheat, seize, then melt boat???

Well I had another one told to me yesterday. Sorry its off the story line here but I still can't believe some people. Its from a customer of mine who has home rentals. The lady renting the house got behind on her monthly rent so they had to go through the court system to get her out.

Anyways she collected cats about 50 that all lived in the house with her. The cats never went outside because no one new she had them until later on. She dumped cat litter all over the floors for the cats to use - again all over the floors no boxes or anything. Of course this was found out afterwards.

Well after they finally got her booted out and worked on shelters getting the cats out, they could not under stand why in the world is the inside of the house so wet all over the place about 3/4's up on all the walls in the whole place.

Also on top of that was the mounds of cat litter and cat crap / pee just all over the place.

All the rugs were wet plus the cat litter was more like mud than dry litter. Well come to find out there was a power washer that was left plus people started to come by and asked "we wondered why that the old lady would drag that power washer out and bring it inside everyday".

She was power washing the inside of the house. I wonder what the cats did when she started power washing inside the house. They said it was the worse living breathing conditions that they ever seen even compared to TV shows that show that kind of stuff.

You get paid to listen, we have to pay to listen. Big difference.

I'm not saying it's not part of my job and I have 2 cell phone bills to prove it. Sure there are some less skilled mechanics out there. I've also met doctors and lawyers I've been less then impressed with. Let's be real not everyone finished at the top of the class. Like in anything in life you get what you pay for . I
