I had the same boat but was a 93. Great boat no complaints at all. I had the 5.7liter in mine and it would do about 50-52 gps with two people closer to 45 with 4 people. 454 mag your probably looking closer to 60, 65 would be a push.
Great boat I had no complaints. was actually looking to get rid of my fountain to get a 25-26 crown

I knew/know some of the founding members of TOPPS, it is really a shame what an elitist organization it has become. That was never their vision. Everyone has to start somewhere. Red Adair loved jet-boats and kept one long after he started buying bigger boats, they were all about having fun on boats with like minded people regardless the boat.
It would be nice if you as President would make an effort to be more inclusive. It seems unlikely your organization will grow without a grassroots effort.

The moral of the story is that any boat that gets you out on the water is fun. I have had many boats that started with a 14' and the Sears 9.9 hp outboard. I have enjoyed every single one and made many memories. As I look back on my life I realize that some of my best days were in boats. I am sure it is the same for most of us here. No one makes it out of this life alive.... and... How many summers do you really have left? Hopefully we can all get out there on the water this year and enjoy it.
