I’m wondering if the engines are even ‘installed’ or just bolted in position for show. Might have no wiring, drivetrain, fuel tanks.......who knows?

There would need to be some kind of foil underneath or the thrust would push the bow down? Or maybe the air entrapment would compensate
. Anyway you'd better watch out for what might be behind you! Dam I want to see this thing run!

Agreed.
I was at Ken Warbys house yrs ago and we were watching the video of Craig Arfons deadly attempt at Kens outright water record and Ken said he ran out of gas which eliminated the downward thrust (designed into the build) which kept the bow down.

Offshore Raceboat 38' Bertram Competition - $10,000 (Stuart, FL)
OWN a piece of racing history, Ex: Vincentive as rigged and raced by Sammy James. No power or drives or trailer. Later raced as Budwieser in Puerto Rico as a D class boat. I also have a 1967 28' Magnum/Donzi, one of maybe four built low deck not the high deck 28' Donzi. Could make a fun race/pleasure boat as it has a full-size cockpit. Said to be the first staged raceboat built. Was a factory boat for Mercury and raced by Johnny Bakos as Stern Driver. Same as Bertram she's a full resto.
