One owner for the last 36 years! You'd think they'd have a little more info about the boat with owning it all that time.

Haha maybe like my Mom used to say, "if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all"

That’s probably why they ended up divorced. 🙂 RR |

https://www.boats.com/power-boats/19...tress-8495829/ Lets imagine the guy bought that boat when he was 40, that would make him 76 yrs old today. How savvy is a 76 yr old on the internet? (notice just 2 pics). No idea what the market is on old mistresses but the asking price seems high especially if the boat is close to original. |

Rode like crap and was cheaply built . But I thought the same of Sidewinders and Glastron jet boats back in the day. Hard to grow up with a well built 26 foot offshore boat in the early 70s and not think anything but were pieces of crap. |

1973 Magnum Marine Sport 25 w/twin engines-barn find-all orignial!RARE - $19,000 (Cape Coral FL)https://fortmyers.craigslist.org/lee/boa/d/cape-coral-1973-magnum-marine-sport-25/7534619532.html1973 Magnum Marine Sport 25!! Rare 1 of 1 produced. All original Barn Find!! I was going to restore it but my plans have changed. Twin 350's Chevy engines. Volvo Penta 280 drives. Project boat. engines and drives have never been taken out or replaced. Needs engines and drives to be rebuilt. Also needs new upholstery. Even has the original hoses from 1973. It was last in the water in 2010. This was my family boat in 1973-1979, I found it last year at Lake Mead and bought it back. It has been in storage for the past 12 years, needs complete rebuild. It was last in the water in 2010. Built by Don Aronow of Magnum Marine (Donzi, Cigarette, Magnum Marine ect). Only 20 of these 25 sports were produced and this is the only green twin engine 25 Magnum ever built very rare. Built in Miami and it spent its entire life on the west coast in fresh water. In Cape Coral Florida in covered storage. Includes 1977 trailer, in 2021 I spent $5,000 to rebuild the entire trailer. All new everything including 6 new tires. We recently trailered the boat from Nevada to Florida with no problem. Owned by performance boat enthusiast & lifelong boater. 31 ft. overall on trailer. Has cuddy cabin to sleep 2. Does 63 mph speed when new, very fast! https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...62e07dc305.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...9925271625.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...37a808df94.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...292acdb589.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...60826fcff2.jpg |
Great story but ummmmm no.
Powder Keg was easily the most restored Magnum ever on OSO and it was perfect and only like 39K or something ridiculous. I'd love to the see the receipts on how he blew 5K restoring that trailer. |

I did, too, at first. I had to look at it a couple times to make sure I was seeing it right, even counting out the digits. They both see kinda nutz to me, price wise. But I’m also not in the financial market to even consider it, so what do I know? Thanks. Brad. (937)545-8991 |

Can’t say as I’d disagree, but $200K seems pretty low, too. 🤷♀️ Thanks. Brad. (937)545-8991 |

yellow 50' Hustler is still listed ( posted back in 2015 - when it was only a 9yr old Hustler) on powerboatlistings for $185K

part-out candidate maybe... probably have to pay to get rid of the hull though as I doubt you'll find someone wanting to buy it bare.

Yup, it's questionable at best. If there's one running motor, 2 good drives, and a usable trailer, you might make a couple bucks. I wouldn't do it, but I've got my hands full at the moment anyway.

HOW absolutely stupid must you be to spell the make of boat wrong when it's literally printed on the trailer and boat itself multiple times? Cobalt isn't even a hard word.... Sheesh. |
