So it won't hit the bottom of piston.

A good reason to cut oil filters open and inspect randomly. Those things were junk from day 1.

Electrical - yes. electrical. Wanna know how many Cannon plugs, grounds (watch that new paint !), and variety electrical gremlins get created when replacing/rebuilding a motor.

As far as to read up on all this - there is much here but not at all organized. Best way to find them first is by finding motor broken or tuning problem threads. A lot of answers/questions given/asked by fellow members will be rigging related.

#1 thing to do - if you have a question, ask it ! No one will schit on you for asking. You will be schit on for not listening to advice and for not having some diagnostics of the problem at hand.

Like the famous: "My boat just died. What is it ?" kind of thread. Some things need to be chacked and some symptoms leading up to this, if any, should be shared with the question.

Overall, if you show you care, others will care with you.
Thanks, SB!

I can see why. Those are very intriguing prices.
