Been for sale for quite some time now. Price been dropping. Cool boat no doubt. 900sc mercs and six drives, for 79k? Seems like a deal as long as she isnt a chine walking death trap at wot.

That's the one I was talking about,,,, and although cool for what it is,,,,,, the bolster rear seat, and scoops takes away half of what I like about the 36,,,,all the room !!!

seems to run pretty stable in the video, but its flat water,,,,, don know how the CG is with the different setup

That boat just had standard issue bravos.

You like history 4bus? Back when a late 80's 40ft fountain averaged 93mph over a 110 mile race in the pacific ocean , Baja was perfecting their high performance vessels too.

This thread has been very educational! What I have learned so far:

1) Bajas are big and slow and comparable to a Chrysler mini van.
2) Fountains and smaller, faster, better built, more of a "race boat", etc and more comparable to a Porsche or even the Space Shuttle.
3) Fountain skanks are thinner, better looking and can take a pounding. However, may have "camaro hair".
4) Fountain owners get butt hurt when you compare a Baja to a Fountain.

Carry on, I would like to further my education!
