I just took a boat home from loto last week. I feel it was competitive with others sold nationally recently.
But not a big dollar rig and thru a private party.

Jup, you can always come down on price. Hard to start low and ask more once you have interested buyers. "You'll give me $49,995? Wait, I really wanted $59,995!!!" I have actually had this happen to me before on a couple of different items I tried to purchase over the years.

Yup.

Start high....I mean high. What's the worse that happens?, you get talked down to what you really want. Cause at the other and of the day it is supply and demand and the clean supply is drying up. So a boat or anything is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Go for the shootout one year. You will never stop talking about it either.

I get that, it is just the same salt water boats that get moved to the midwest and suddenly the price shoots up......despite them lingering on the market forever in their former salt water locations.
