I can say for some not all......but all the big dealers are up or around that way.

So if a guy like me can't sell it on my own here in FL, then you have to go to consignment and really the big names that get boats sold are all in that area kind of.

Your talking about boats like this. 20k higher than when listed in fla. Expensive drive I guess.

It is recieving several upgrades as we speak. There are buyers here that don't want or dont have the time to fly or drive to Florida to look at a boat. The market is hot here right now, and the boat is pretty clean. I'm surprised it has sat as long as it has.

A boat sells for what the market will bear. If LOTO is the hot spot for sales, then they get a premium nothing hidden in that. Smart sellers will transport or consign in that area to get a premium or at least a sale.Prices will adjust as supply and demand in that area of the country go up and down. It's no different than cars, planes, motorcycles, real estate, etc. Eventually smart BUYERS will go outside the LOTO loop and search for better deals than buying local.

It's asking price.

Nothing wrong asking more off the bat at all. With boats there is no set price and the prices with nice boat and stock Merc power seem to be only going up.

Also some people think if the boat is even sold in a area with Salt that the boat is trash.

I really don't see an issue here, I only see a price point to start negotiations.

I agree, if they can sell a boat for more in that area, good for them

$3500 for transport, no big deal.

Full service, new headers and going through the 525's, I think a little price increase is validated. Either way, a asking price is just that, asking. Call or email me anytime if you would like to talk about any of our boats. [email protected]

Fresh motors and new headers definitely adds significant value, but the add doesn't mention anything about that. I'm not knocking you guys, I think you know how to sell boats. Your helping all used boat values and I wouldn't hesitate to send mine to you if your selling for more money in your area.
