I still have one of the bear trackers although I haven't used it in years. I imagine all the frequencies are different now which would render it useless.

I drove through Houston yesterday with my Valentine 1, ended up turning it off, the new full size GM SUVS with their anti collision radars made it useless, can not believe a bunch of car guys would pick a frequency that has for years worked in favor of car guys.

The Waze app rocks, very accurate...a real keeper. Just read that the cops want to shut it down because claiming that it endangers them since people know where they are and will be subject to ill intent. Bu!!FrigginSh!t, they're losing ticket money and their precious little interdiction opportunities since we got the upper hand for now. Best app ever.

It's sad to say but they have a point. I'm sure it wont be long before it's used in the bank robbery getaway or something.

And their point is "had we stuck to real crime prevention and enforcement instead of revenue generation, we would not have this problem"

It doesn't work with cops who are driving around, only stationary...their point is weak but will strike a note with some politicians. I'm sure at some point they'll figure out a way around Waze like they always do, but for now I'll enjoy the information as I'm driving the highways.

Never got a ticket in 4 years running until I bought a Escort detector and than almost lost my license within 1 year relying on it.
Phuck Ohio. they got me 16 over, took two days off work to play the game.Plea bargain 5 over limited access highway, the azzholes still sent Michigan 15 over info and paid 100 dollars more fine for plea agreement.Emailed prosecutor, she'll look into it..... nothing.

That sucks. Got caught doing 105 on a backwoods highway in Maine. My state never found out about it.
