i know the saris boat is staggered bravo's
mercruiser has a different part # for the coupler used for jack shaft/ drive line models,
will the bravo dg work on the drive line housing or is it special?
the flywheel i want to use bolt pattern for the coupler is 12 5/8 center with 6 bolts

I don't have big power, or a heavy hull, but love to run the chop here in the Chesapeake Bay. Below are three videos that show the kind of water that has been a drive killer for me over the years. Not much jumping, just waves close together with troughs deep enough to air out the prop for some slip and grab - without the hull lifting - so there is nothing to coordinate your throttle hand with. Went thru 5 TRS's in first 5 summers at 40-60 hours each, and 80 out of one - 4 of them with the same drive plate (stock merc - same one spec'd for a 350ci cabin cruiser setup) Rebuilt one drive myself, and bartered and traded for the others, so it didn't cost me much... till I bought a Konrad. That finally went last year after 430 hours and 6 or so years, with no change in power level - but I think it should have gone longer with only 540ci, under 600hp, huber trans, in a 4,300 lb boat. I've always thought the DG was a brilliant idea, and since I am adding a little more power, I was thinking it could make all the difference for me - So could you PM me a price for my setup please? Thanks!!
Speeds are not WOT - just 4,000-4,500 cruise.

(BTW, interesting note - my last boat couldn't run the bay like this, and the '89 Bravo I put on it on it lasted over 400 hours for me with just under 500hp, and then went on my buddies 22 Donzi with 525hp, and has still not been rebuilt to this day - ever - because both boats were not big enough to get on top of the that kind of water and run level)

Where on where does the time go? Sorry about that - subscription probably ran out - if you get this, try me again. Block is done, and rotating assembly is a week out - engine will now be 572ci and 700hp call it maybe 700ft lbs ish...... I'm out of money, lol, but give me a number to argue with myself over please
- I also sent an email to your website today - thanks, Eddy

- I also sent an email to your website today - thanks, EddyPics below are the fun of widely spaced 1-2's, not drive killing water (and with the Konrad), where you can run trim high and let her fly WITHOUT airing the prop - pics are at low 70's and most without pulling throttle... Thus her name "Hangtime". So glad I didn't raise my X-dimension, as it would've killed a lot of this fun. Although the hull re-entering the water is also a drive stressor, it's nothing like the shock of the slip and grab. Running the 2-3's, trimmed level, without jumping, yet prop slipping and grabbing, is what has been murder on my drives.
