Notice how poor the shape of the logo is to hide the previous Spectre logo.

Just to be clear, Tony owes me nothing.

My last transaction with him may have taken a little longer than usual but the check may have been lost in the mail ... ? ? ?

Eventually another check was cut and he was paid up.

After this, a representative contacted me for image files to use.

He made the comment that at Tony's request that I invoice Tony.

I no longer provide digital file downloads without payment first and if I do, it is for a very limited amount of customers that have great credit with me. I suggest the representative to pay for the files himself and then he could invoice Tony. Needless to say I never heard from him again.

Not until this upcoming Miami Boat Show 2015 I heard from one of the new investors wanting Digital Files for use on the SONIC Backdrop at the Miami Boat Show. I told him where he could find the images and they may be purchased directly from the website. He was clear he needed them ASAP and actually by the end of that day. Well several days went by after I hung up the phone. I followed up with a call and was told they decided to go with something else. Something else was right. Someone made the comment here on WWW.OFFSHOREONLY.COM asking what was up with the "Wedding Album" backdrop at the Sonic booth? I nearly spit out my coffee on that one ...

My last contact with Tony was in 2012 when I was in Jupiter, Fl for the races. I had Saturday available and being minutes from Tony's shop I asked if he had anything he needed shooting. He assured me he did and to contact him in the morning, but once I was off the phone he was no longer able to be reached by phone or email. He was not returning calls or text messages. On that very weekend with his actions I decided I no longer wanted to do business with him again.

2 other stand up guys I dealt with in the company I came to learn are no longer there and I will not speculate as to why they left.

Tony had a nice facility in Toms River, NJ why he is no longer there ? I will not speculate on that either.

People can do their own homework and anyone in this league to purchase a boat is certainly grown up enough to make their own decisions.

As far as Chuck's boat ? Move it across state lines and a person needs to start over with the legal process ? That just doesn't sound right ...

I wish him the best. I feel terribly bad for him because I can say that all the times I met Chuck or sold Chuck images of his boat he was nothing but a stand up guy...

Who built that one? Google says Jay wasn't building CCs in 2011. If it wasn't Frisini then either ?

Really? What a BS thing to say. What does the number of posts or join date have anything do with it, no wonder some people don't stick around with that kind of attitude toward a new member.

Not the credit unions fault that I did business with a thief ( in my opinion), but it was their fault that the lien never got filed with the state. This basically made my loan a personal loan. We could never do a transfer of collateral due to the fact that the boat was never near complete nor would the manufacturer provide a useable HIN number. There are many details in between ( most of which are listed in other threads here on OSO) but in the end the boat went from a Spectre( logo integrated in the paint scheme) to a Sonic ( which I did not purchase) to a hermaphordite. The boat said Sonic on the outside, Spectre on the seats from PPI, and Spectre on the custom Livorsi gauges and electrical panels. The boat was a disaster. Again leaving out some of the details ( at the expense of rewriting info in other threads), when I told Frisina that this was unacceptable he told me and the Vice President at the credit union to **** off, he is gonna sell it to someone else. When the banker said " you can't do that, it's our boat too" he replied I'm doing it and hung up the phone. Now many on here say how can they do that? It's stealing! It's Fraud! Your all right but the police don't get involved in business disputes, that is what lawyers are for. Now I spent money with a Florida attorney only to have Frisina move the boat to NJ to use it himself and avoid Fl legal action trying to recover it or preferably my money. Now all the money spent in Fl is a waste and you start over. Consulted with Jersey attorneys and have one estimate at 100k to chase a judgement that you may or may not collect. the first 36 customer is going to court in the very near future and I am anxiously awaiting the outcome and collection process. The owner of the 36 has spent tens of thousands of dollars correcting manufacturers defects and making the boat seaworthy ( I heard from a source close to the situation). There are some pretty tough consumer fraud laws in NJ and triple damages are possible, but again can you collect? The next couple months should be very interesting for the crew down at Sonic.
Wish you the best possible outcome in this miserable situation.
