FYI, in case if you don't know.....I am 1995 Deaf Olympic qualifier in wrestling. I got seriously injured during trials and ended up 5th out of 13th. I had right shoulder injury that required surgery. Surgery was done in August 1995 and I am retired from wrestling but can continue to teach young kids about wrestling. So Now I am completely hooked with Offshore Boat Racing and would like to throttle in the race.

A friend of mine was lucky enough, after a long wait, to receive a kidney transplant about 20 years ago. He's 51 years old now and teaching his grandson to water ski.
I know it's worrying for you but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep a positive attitude and things will turn around. Focus on recovery and goals, not the illness.

Thanks!
I am trying to keep myself busy and active so that way I can stay positive. Tony from JD BYRIDER will be generous enough to drive all the way to here from his hometown in Ohio to visit and support me and my family while I stay at the hospital.....THank you, Tony..... he is a true offshore racer but beyond very true friend to me.

Staying positive is the best you can do for yourself. KNOW that you are going to beat this. My kidney disease has been stable since 2000 with meds. My uncle has been running on one kidney for 25+ years with no problems and he is 72. I look forward to meeting you at an Offshore race that your running in in the near future. STAY POSITIVE BROTHER! Does a body good!
