I'm planning to go visit my SS welder this weekend who built those up pipes. If you have all the flanges, bends, and a mock up piece, I'd say he'd be up to the challenge. His tig work is A+. However sometimes sourcing matching radius bends in 316L can be a bit tricky. I spent more time sourcing the bends than he did welding it...

At first we did not want to run the stock manifold because the water jacket comes out on the flange that the turbo mounts to so we would be limited to the factory turbo, and it would be more restrictive then one we would make, Then we decided it would be easier to use the stock manifold and build a spacer between the manifold and turbo to have a place for the water to come out, but no one has the factory manifolds in stock. Cummins does not have any and I have not found any place that has any blown up engines or replacement parts to get one.

They would have had the high rpm and would have been set up to run on 2 if we needed so there would be less chance of getting stranded. There is a warehouse overseas that has 20 of them sitting in it and they will not sell them. I tried for a long time to get one and never got to the right person. If anyone has a high enough contact at Audi racing I would still like to get two for my cigarette gladiator and use it to do v-bottom records.
Talk to these guys here in The Netherlands.

Diemax High Performance Diesel Engines - V12 High Performance

I'm sure they can help, they completely designed and built this engine. If you look at the specs it's based on the same Audi engine.
If you need any help translating or something just ask.

Why not keep it simple and stick with dry manifolds and lag them.
Piece of mind, no cracks to worry's about or water going back into the cylinders the design can be tweaked at leisure if turbo configuration needs changing.

There also a lot lighter than water jacked headers, especially by the time you fill them with water.

lagging is what the uk boys call insulation and metal, thats i do for a living, a good person could do you a very nice job.

they have just brought out this new(to me) material called pyrogel that is very water resistant (water rolls around like mercury on it). Its about 3/8ths of an inch thick. Im thinking two staggered layers and covered in .024 stainless jacket would last very well.

if not, disregard.
