Wow that sounded like you were turnign some serious RPMs? Sorry if I skipped it 10 pages ago but what is your rev limit? Hope CMI gets you taken care of quickly.

Absolutely it is possible. Many large sport fish and yachts have a similar set up to use the mains as emergency crash pumps. It can even be as easy is closing the through hull and cutting the water intakeline to have it suck water from the bilge.

We have had to do it before. We shut the intake valve and took sea strainer lid off

I just ran out to my garage and popped the hood of my 2500HD and much to my surprise my engine looks nothing like your masterpieces. Mine have a cheap plastic shroud not the shiny aluminum yours do!

I sort of feel ripped off!

Could you imagine if we put one of these in a truck and took it to the dealership and told them we think there is something wrong... The look on the technicians face when he opened the hood would be priceless.
