there is a used 29 at the Eliminator Factory now for sale but it is not the one that they built. It was built by OL My friend saw it today. He says the paint has multiple chips in it everywhere

That is correct ... boat has just 29hrs on it ... 2012 model year...the boat was painted as all OL boats are ...

This OL is here in CA for re-sale.

Eliminator ONLY uses gelcoat, which is much more durable than any paint.

Here's a picture of the boat we built that currently runs out of Toronto Canada.

This is the boat Performance Boat Center built for stock and then retailed. It was painted, not gel coat. Sold to a guy in South Texas.

Hi!

Do anyone know what kind of paint OL use?

Would be interesting to know as I had to paint my boat last year due to a water craft crashed into the boat when moored and caused a 2,5 meters hole in it.

Using care with your 150k+ boat works better than using gel instead of paint.

We have the SV29 Ilmor/ Indy it has now covered over 200 hours mostly in the ocean and we have beaten the crap out of it, we run a lot in Key West and we go boating when the fisherman won't leave port and i have to say for a small boat it's sea keeping is excellent, even when you land hard on a chine it does not flex, your body would give up way before the boat. Our boat is still immaculate no cracks, crazing or any structural defects. When Eliminator started spouting about how much weight they had saved with inferior resins and layup my conclusion was they have made it into a lake boat, you can't possibly use inferior materials, make it lighter and finish up with a boat that you can take out into the ocean and beat the crap out of . So my view would be only buy an SV29 that is built by Outerlimits.
