The SV29 is a better lake boat than ocean boat in my opinion. Eliminator doesn't use inferior products and gel is better than paint.....that's about it. Next guy that bashes Eliminator is going to get a foot in their ass. Happy Friday!!

I doubt anyone has more ocean time in the SV-29, than our team.
Since it appears to be your first post, respectfully disagree with your conclusions on where this hull dominates.

Dang, I remember when I had my first post on OSO.

How is Peter bashing Eliminator? He simply stated the build process between the two are worlds apart. Eliminator builds a great, durable lake boat. I sure wouldn't want to be in an Eliminator on Lake Erie in 6'ers. They look great cruising the channel in Havasu tho.

LOL, I blew past plenty of OL in the Miami Boat Show poker run. Ran with the guys from PBC at Key West all the way from Gilberts to Marathon. They had 1350's and I had 700 vipers. Got plenty of vid of them trying to pull past.......lol

OL are def better boats than Elim's but the Elim's are damn good with a history since 1969.

Inferior building materials from Eliminator? Not so much, but spin it however you want. Mike Fiore's wife is from CA. This partnership allowed him to write off everything he did in CA....travel, residences....etc.

You guys get so off track with all this $hit flinging.

Did I miss something? I didn't see anyone say Eliminator got received this mold with the intention building a better ocean race boat than Outer Limits? I don't think so... I have no knowledge of what the actual intentions were of bring this mold to Eliminator. However, it would make sense to send it to Eliminator if you wanted to try and build a lake boat version that was a bit more economical in price....

By the way gel IS better than paint 100 times over....I have an early 90s built boat with gel that likely looks better than you 5 year old painted boat!

Happy Friday all you keyboard warriors

Peter Unwin says he has 200 hrs, mostly ocean, in his boat. You've run a handful of ocean races in yours, mostly KW at 30 minutes per race. The math doesn't add up.
