Thank You to all the OSO'ers that responded. I think I will wait till I can find a PSD Excursion in my price range.

Back4More - I had that concern about my wife driving the X, but it turned out the opposite. She likes dirving it much better than the Yukon we had. So much, in fact, that her Saab rarely gets used anymore. I'm not sure she would have enjoyed a PSD so much though, just because of the noise.

That's a matter of opinion and not my opinion or my wifes.

It drove great before air bags, and they made it even better.

My wife is 5ft 4inches tall and loves the Excursion. It is her daily driver except for when she has the urge to drive the dually!

Ours is V-10, runs and handles so much better than the Yukon Denali we had, that I bought a Ford F-350 Truck myself.

Nothing like having two vehicles that not only look good, have plently of room and creature comforts, but pay their way. These babies will do eveything you ask of them.

You can ask Dave on the board "Vagrant Twins". The four of us headed to Ohio from North Carolina up I-77 mountains at 80 MPH in full comfort, heated seats the works and got 15 MPH out of the V-10. Hard to beat.

My wife just loves the PSD X 4x4 we have. I am going to put some money in the front end with better springs, and shocks. The springs on it now are too light and the shocks are crap. Also the rear end will get a sway bar. Ford should have done this to start with but they were just trying to save money.

Jan: You are on the right track.
From my personal experience, V-10 sucks. No power, crappy mileage. Mine was a 2000. Never buy another one.
Buy a Denali and you will love it, rides great and will pull well too. Check e-bay.
PSD's are great in x's though, I hear.
