DM- with the right set up and dialing in I know your 368 will run 130+ maybe 135. It went 130 with 40s at only 5100 when Ron had it. I rode in it with Ron and Cash Bar the 1st day Ron got it.

The 388 that had 700s went 127 with props spinning in. I know Vinny very well that runs it with Sam (now has 1350s of course) Vinny told me a different gear and spinning out and the 388 had 130 in it. The 388 had 1.42 gears at the time I believe. And with Stage 2 whipple kits it went 140. 800-825 hp I believe.

Your 368 is the ticket. Awesome boat, it's my girls favorite one as far as paint and color too! Lol I think with stage 3 kits it should do 145. Are you still running the props in? What pitch?

I think the Z06 Vette and ZL1 Camaro, and Hellcats might disagree with you

I was told it ran 133 at one time. I hit 130 and hit rev limiter in fresh water. The props are spinning in.

We have not been happy with the carpet because it is fading rapidly. I am in contact with seadek who has an orange in production. we are doing similar pattern with the diamonds and Skater in black.

Cars aren't boats... So I guess since a 1650 only makes it about 5 hrs then if I get 7 out of my pushrod motor it's better?

Those little 281s can throw down 1000hp... In a car. I have a mildly built cobra that has 600hp. The reality is it is not inexpensive. I enjoy the car and it's awesome for a '99 Cobra but it doesn't compare to the technology that is now available. You're a dog chasing its tail. Better off just buying newer.
