How far from that is your friend. Or did you not mark him.

Actually he is still alive, but no longer my friend, and not because of the outboard , he paid me for it.

After going through some crap with him though , he should be next to the outboard.

I lost a rolex Submariner kneeboarding, I knew the approximate area where I lost it. found it in about 30 min of diving, just laying there on the bottom. you don't need a metal detector, it will be just laying on the bottom. If you swim anywhere near it you will find it. One thing is for sure if you don't even try then you know the rest.

I lost a pair of Oakley sunglasses in the marina next to my boat on Sunday whyal packing up to go. It was October and cold I was so pissed off we just left. Came back next weekend with a long pol and a fishing net. Took two swipes and shure enough I found them. Was in about 10 ft or so of water. So I have faith in you lol

Don't give up if its worth it to ya. If you are doing it yourself be systematic. put a tent stake it the ground with 50' of line . stretch it out and stake it at the end. Swim the line. Move the outside 15' then repeat. Youll find it.

Get an underwater camera and look. Have a marker buoy ready to drop.
