I've confirmed these new motors though two different sources. I can't say for certain when they'll be available, but the picture you see of the 450R and 500R came from Mercury.

Not totally buying the image. Look at the back of the cowl. The 5 in 450 doesn't match and you can see a ghost outline of the "R".
It'd be awesome if it happened but that image ain't them. |

not so fast Phil keep in mind all this power is pretty linear through shafts (which easily handle the power) in a straight line only making a direction change a single time at the lower and in outdrives like bravos the upper is the weak link, the lowers are pretty durable, if the lowers on these are adapted XR stuff it would fall within range i would think. |
