Announcing the discontinuation of the 700 on the same day the 750hp SB4 automotive engine is released to the public? Coincidence? I certainly hope not but only time will tell!

That sucks, they finally filled the 400hp gap with the 860 and then just opened a big gap back up.

They are ideal for a smaller cat and he didn't want to wait for the 860......so he got a deal on some 700s and had the boat running for the summer events.

Or he wanted blowers..... in a proven package, and save the 60-70K to put towards his mini bike restoration...........

So What is the price for an 860 without drive, if you can buy it that way.

The 700 with a number 6 drive is an awesome somewhat afordable low maintenace package that should be kept . It looks like the 860 with a number 6 will be awesome and low maintence as welll but the extra 70 to 80 grand will be hard for a lot of people to take when ordering a new boat. The jump from the 700's to 1100 was over 110000 when I ordered my boat, now the jump from 565 to 860 will probably be around the same or more. To most people, myself included 100000 is a lot of money and is a big step between packages.
