I own a 2005 LaveyCraft boat very similar to the one for sale. We strictly lake boat on Lake Mead and the immediate area. The water can get a little interesting at times. Actually look forward to being in the boat, because it handles the rough water really well. Nobody is riding in the bow seats, but its a kick in the head. Great all around boat. Does everything we want. There is enough room up front to seat four. Most of the time it is 2 tho.
My boat has a 525 and it will do close to 80. That boat with the 496 is likely a 70 mph boat. The build quality is seriously top notch. I think their price is inflated and that is why it is still for sale. That being said, good luck finding another boat like that one. They rarely come on the market anymore. I still own mine, because I couldn't replace it.
