Aluminium since salt would perhaps corrode the steel.

I ended up recently ordering a Myco for the boat we just ordered. Myco is expensive, but I was able to get a pretty good discount since we have 5 Myco trailers and 2 cradles. At MSRP, there is no way I would do it though.
