The excitement is gone cuz all u old geezers are getting OLD!

Outboard's are convenient but big block thunder is where the Excitement is. Even the new turbo Mercury quad cams stuff doesn't peak the emotions like a big blower or Mountain motor. Pay attention at the next shootout your at, a boat running 160+ with 1550s isn't nearly as bad ass as a bit slower blower boat.

Actually, I think it would be more important how much it ran in a place you can only bot 3-4 months a year. But since I have I/O 700s, AND live where I can boat year-round, I'm not quite an expert on this.

I have a killer stereo in my Verado powered Cigarette. I have the Hot For Teacher Top Gun audio playing on a constant loop. Problem solved.

If I could only boat 3-4 months a year I would think my issue is finding a new home that I don't have that problem

Around here all the cops drive CC's with OB's. I remember cruising along last summer beautiful day about 40mph and see the silhouette of one way up in the distance. I think "Oh great, the Cops". I look back in the boat at my less than stellar friends "F*ck" God knows what contraband they're carrying! Then I have to tell the girls who are sitting up on the sunpad with their legs over the seatback that they have to sit down fully in the seat because they have no life jackets on and they'll pull us over for sure about that. Then I wonder if there's any beer/alcohol in the cooler in the cockpit because they get pissed at that they want to see it in the cabin away from the operator. Pretty sure were good there. Then I think "Oh sh*t I didnt check our friends cooler!" So I yell back to my buddy to put his cooler down below "Why?" he asks "Because theres Cops up ahead!" "So?" "Just put it down below ok!!!" he does. Then I think about my lack of mufflers. Most of them dont care but some of them are nothing short of anal about it. I think Ok I'll speed up then be rolling off the throttles as I go by to keep the noise down. So we get up closer and closer and I see it's not the Cops its a couple in a CC with triple OBs. They pass us going the other direction and they wave all nice and nice. I wave.....WITH MY MIDDLE FINGER!!!!!

I was under the impression all Canadians were nice.
