Have you ever drove a cat?
Others correct me if I'm wrong, do a lot cats have tabs? Isn't it a little dangerous on some hulls?

if any cat on this planet does not need tabs . . . . its the 39 Ocean X. I dont think any cat needs tabs really, by nature they come up on plane and run flat anyway

It is because I have the boat in pieces and we are re shaping the transom so I am thinking about things to do now before we are finished, the trim tabs was just a idea. But yes I know cats do not use trim tabs usually but I have seen some with and the older cats used to use the center trim tab, that was for not "true tunnel ram" hulls maybe?

Well the transom is done but the engines and drives are not installed. Now the mechanic does not have the time to finish the boat and he is starting to work in a new business does not want to work on boats, and he does not want to continue he has fired his glass worker.

I see regular bondo on the transom and looks like the "glass guy" drilled a 100 holes around the tail pipe holes instead of using a hole saw...best he stay out of the glass business anyway.

Anyone else think turbo230 would have been better off buying Phenomenon?

Hello to everyone we have been away from this forum for about a year. If you remember the soap opera is we are from Mexico and we bought a CAT in the USA.After bouncing between 4 repair shops and being robbed about 17k, after almost loosing the boat and equipment to a dishonest repair shop in Florida we have the boat in Mexico in a warehouse in pieces. As you see here the transom is done and we need to cut the holes for the #6 drives bellhousing. That is the problem we have now. I am looking to see if there is any one in this community that is willing to travel to Guadalajara Mexico and cut the holes and do the xdimensions to instal the #6 drives. After that we can do the rest. We can pay your airfare and $1500 usd per day. This project is a sad situation, never even drov the boat........ and only spending money and begging for help will fix it.
