Here’s a cool customer project I’m working to pay the Checkmate bills.

’1967 17’ Whaler.
Complete restoration.
Told customer I was geeked to flip it over and start on his new console.
Carpentry vs sanding epoxy primer.

Had a great Sunday in the shop today.

Blues on the stereo, no pressure, work at your pace, while it’s fun day.

Work an hr, take a break and read OSO threads then back to work.
Priceless and my favorite part of having my shop in the back yard.

Couldnt be happier w/today’s engineering project and don’t think I’ll be able to break.

Top, cross bar is two layers of 3/4”, 7 ply, Okume marine plywood.
Knees are single pc of 3/4”.
