The price of pretty much any new fiberglass boat is, IMO, pretty crazy. Definitely out of my comfort zone at this stage of my life. I have to believe I'm not alone with this perspective.

That certainly makes a well taken care of preowned a more attractive option for me -- but still a raw dollar bottom-line pricey alternative for some models.

Asking prices are definitely up. Appears to be a sellers market these days.

I agree with you,,,,,,,,, and you are right used boat prices are up. Like I said before, for people that still want mild power sport boats, nothing has been made for a long time. I know everyone states how nice the new 3,4,5 engine CC's are and they are close to the same speed but those are way out of the price range.
