New Cigarette Project Coming
After being involved in two new Cigarette builds over the last eight years we have decided to build a new 42X. Project actually started this past September with acasual conversation with the folks from the Performance Boat Center during the Lake Cumberland Poker Run ( PBC, participation does pay). After working directly with the team at Cigarette racing on two awesome builds we're super excited about this new boat. With the dream team of Cigarette and PBC this should be a fun ride.
Thinking about starting a build thread similar to "Dream Boat" and "Project X". Assume the mods will want this in the Cigarette forum (please advise). Will be doing several factory visits along the way and taking a lot of baby pictures as the project progresses. Up first, graphics and interior. Details to come but will say I was very intrigued with Mercury Racings new Dual Fuel 1350 QC4v engine. After flawless / turnkey performance from our last 1100 QC4v package combining the best of both worlds seems like the thing to do. Stay tuned, Cheers |

Congrats to all involved. Sounds like fun and I’m sure it will turn out incredible. |
Looking forward to seeing the progress of this build.

Awesome Gary, but its just a matter of time until you come over to the CAT world....
|
Look forward to following this! Congrats on what I’m sure will be a killer boat.

Following! Hey, wait a minute. This has to be fake news. JS says Cig doesn't build I/O boats anymore! :angry-smiley-038:

Looking forward to following the build.. Don't know if it's an option but I always thought it'd be cool to have underwater lights on the backside of the steps.
|
Hard work pays off, Gary. Congrats to you and the family. It will be fun watching the build come together!

Thanks for choosing Performance Boat Center for your new Cigarette build Gary!! Its been fun so far, cant wait to see the finished project!! The 42x is defiantly one of the most fun, best handling, safe V bottoms out there.
Anyone interested in a fresh water showroom spotless 42x with 1100's here is the link to Gary's previous boat. https://www.performanceboatcenter.co...OwnedInventory Brett Manire Performance Boat Center |

Awesome Gary!
The Cig forum would be ideal. If you want me to move the whole thread I can do that for you. |

It's going to be sweet!
Leave the thread here for a little while at least cause not everyone checks out the cig section but might enjoy the thread.... There's not much good content online anymore so we appreciate it! |
Agreed , and put a good word in for me with Brett and Skip, I really want to build a new 41 GTR.... |
Gary- congratulations on the new build! I have enjoyed each one you’ve done. Thanks for always sharing the process. Bryan |

Colors are white, red & black. Same colors involved but different balance. Trying to mix it up a bit.

Always love these threads of yours and they're kind've rare now-a-days it seems (people posting their build process) so it makes it even that much cooler...Oh, and it's a cig...And it's bad azz...that helps too. lol Obviously work hard and play hard. Congrats man. |
