TooSlow, I have a bunch of pics of Hell Bannana, just need to fix my scannner. The boat was next to a boat that burned real bad and the flames spread to my boat and caught the interior on fire. There was not any real structural damage, the cockpit was all burnt, uphostery totally gone. the engine cover destroyed and the port hull side was burnt also. I bought it from an insurance salvage company. Paid $3000.00 for it towed it home and completely dissasembled it down to a bare hull and went from there. It was a real fun project that I could take my time on, had 2 other boats at the time to enjoy. It was at my buddys body shop for about 3 yrs.Yes, it sat very low in the water and actually looked kinda funny, like it was really sinking, the rub rail was almost even with the water line
It was an extremely fast boat for a 24 footer and I wish that I had not sold her. Last I knew it was back on Winnipesaukee and kept at the dive shop in Wolfboro.
