Rough water ride 50 Cigarette. Top speed 50 Outerlimits. Being new to performance boats I would think the Cig would be more forgiving to driver comparing to OL. Both top of the food chain in performance boat world IMO. With 50' of running surface I would lean to OL.

Buy something smaller, you'll tire of all the parasite friends after one season.

wow, I sure wish I had the means to step right into a 50' Cig/OL as my 1st performance boat!!! With the horsepower that goes with those 2 boats, I wouldn't want to ride with an inexperienced captain!

Not the same at all or even close.

Travis has a proven track record of motor sports of all kinds of over the years but even remove al that he is sitting next to one of the best in the biz teaching and showing him what to do in a race boat that has a team to do all the rest.

Anyone new to boating wanting a 50's monster with big power that they will have to transport, maneuver, and drive on their own is either insane or just fishing sites for stupid comments.

Outerlimits doesn’t make a 50+ foot boat so this is not really a fair comparison. Both are beasts for sure but not when you take away the bussel which is what? 4 feet? 5 feet? Maybe someone has those dimensions. This is such a blatantly Winter thread it’s silly.
