Good news, I was wondering about that. Thanks for the link.

and for god sakes people, limit the people on your boat to the people that you live with and no raftups.

they will shut this **** down so fast it will make your head spin and ruin it for everyone.

I got the Donzi out yesterday and the police were indeed sitting at the boat launch all day. I was alone and doing a spring shakedown run and they didn't bother me. It was 68* and sunny. This morning there is snow on the ground.

FL is still boating as normal unless you keep your boat in a high and dry marina, they are closed and deemed not essential.

They also patrol the islands to make sure boats are 50' apart and with no more than 10 on board. Been going out and no issues for us.

Boating was banned yesterday by our terrible Governor.

Yep. This is some serious bullsh*t and there will be civil disobedience. Right now the weather forecast looks poor so no big deal but if it gets warm I will risk the $1,000 ticket. Here is a link to the story in the Detroit News: https://www.detroitnews.com/story/ne...er/5135504002/

Here also is a link to the national news criticizing our governor: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mic...Joj1DrEiuCT2Eg

Blame it on the idiots congregating at the ramps that led to this situation, ramps were closed up here over a week ago. I got a email from the fairgrounds where I winter store our boat stating they will not unlock the facility and we cannot get to our boats during the ban.

Yikes! Pitch forks and torches soon. Really sorry to hear that and I’m praying it doesn’t happen over here, but if it does I’d be risking a citation if it’s a warm day out as well.

Default Manatee County boat ramps re-opening

Manatee County Fl ramps ( locate between Sarasota and Tampa/St Pete) re-opening Monday to general public. Our Marinas didn't close, but ramps were only open for commercial use. Hot weather , cheap fuel , and cabin fever could be a recipe for disaster, but I'm hoping for the best!!!

If need be just pull to Pinellas, all ramps are open to the public still and people are acting fine from what I have seen
