Those two pictures are two different boats.
The first picture showing 137 mph is Victory Powerboats West VTX36 done by Dale. He has also ran 138 mph now with pictures and video of that.

The second picture is the VTX34 done by FB Marine Group that ran 135 by Shaun Torrente.

You are correct lavey jr. They are both 34s though and running some impressive numbers. Torrente thinks 140 mph is possible.

Both 34's and both 36's. I say that because the boat measures almost 36' long so what size should it really be called? Could be called either one, round down or round up like most manufactures do. I don't doubt it will run 140, I've talked to Dale at Victory West and he is 100% confident he will get it to run 140. Next question is who will be first?!

I'm super impressed with the speeds these two Victory cats are getting!

The Victory boats are impressive and that is crazy speed for outboards but in stock class didn't the doug wrights seem to have a slight edge? Has a new 32 doug wright with the vented steps been ran with 450s?

The Super Stock Victory hulls were starting to get their setups dialed in and becoming competitive with the DW hulls. The DWs have a lot of laps under their wings and know how to set them up for the various race conditions. I don't know if the new DW hull has been run with 450Rs yet.

There is a new 32 DW with 450s that will be on the water soon and the owner has a knack for pulling big numbers out of his boats.
