I snapped both upper bolts on an old 2.4 Merc once but the shift shaft kept it from tearing loose like this one did.

I wonder what kind of shape that thing is in. When in running wide open and than ingest water,,,,,, Sat in 100 feet of water, I bet the electronics are toast as well as all connectors.

It will be on craigs list soon,,,,, low hour 300 Verado!

Was cool to watch the salvage!
