Default Losing a whole Verado at full speed!

Apparently the bolts were not strong enough!

A properly designed bolted joint will have enough length between the nut and the head of the bolt to properly stretch the bolt so it doesn’t lose tension.

The larger the bolt diameter, the greater this length needs to be.

I’d be weary of a thin bracket or jack plate using huge bolts that wasn’t designed with this in mind.

635 lb motor hanging by the tie bar...........how would you bring that aboard? They marked it on the GPS so they sounded like they were coming back for it.

Qualified Captain my ass!
Who drives full throttle like that and takes their hands off the sticks?
Then starts the other motor while it's gasping air?

So the seat and the engines both have a significant amount of travel underway...

Love Ron White.........."I had the right to be silent, I just didn't have the abillility"

Odd commentary from the camera guy, lose a motor and "in any other boat it would have capsized?" Not sure about that one unless it was a huge OB on a jon boat with a ton of weight in the front to counterweight the oversized OB.
