A close 3rd is wearing your Lifejacket. Buy a Lifeline and wear it, after the first few times out it becomes second nature and you feel funny without it. That way, "driving" your boat hard is still risky, that is why we own offshore boats, but at least if something goes wrong, the safety measures will kick in. |
