the problem is a) getting a boat and (b) getting one with a clear title that other people are not trying to collect on

If the boat is done and ready to go you should have no problem right?

I'm guessing Berk WOULD'VE prefered the boat he BOUGHT... lol

I don't know the history of the Pantera molds, who owns what, etc...

Type in Berk in the Beware section and in the Pantera section. Clear a few hours on your calendar.
The best thread was deleted after Berk won a judgement I believe.

I can only imagine what the current owner of the molds thinks about this statement of genius: If anyone wants a ‘real’ Pantera call me at 305-305-7295.”

I would think that if the new owner is building out of the original molds then it would be a "real" Pantera. after all the boat does not know who is laying the fiberglass.

I will have to disagree with you. There were some real piles of sh!t that came out of pantera molds under different names.

My step grandpa was a die hard ford guy, worked there his entire life, Was telling me 8-9 years ago about a boat he bought from a guy who “you’ve probably never heard of.” “It was an offshore, hull guaranteed for life, but ****ing Pepe.” I said Pantera? They are still in business. He couldn’t believe it. If I remember right he had driven a station wagon down to Miami from somewhere around Detroit to bring it back and when he got there his almost ready to put in the water boat was being pulled from the mold. If I remember right this was back in the 70s he bought it, was telling me this in probably 2012 or 2013. It was just funny how some things never change. I think he had two weeks to bring the boat back and then get to use it and all of that time was spent at the factory.

My next life I’m going to study and specialize the effects of fiberglass resin on the human brain. So many fuked up stories come out of the marine industry.
Builders and customers.
