Here the way I look at America today.
Ricky Martin is an attractive gay man. -I have no problem with that and support his right to be gay.
Ricky Martin has sex with other men. -I have no problem with that either and think he has every right to be as miserable as husband and wife couples.
Ricky Martin and his partner have domestic partnership benefits as a couple. -I have no problem with that and support that too.
Society wants me to not only support Ricky and his way of life but they want me to suck his d*ck too. -I have a big problem with that.
Why isnt it enough to support a cause? Why are people considered racist or bigots if they only support people but dont partake in their "way of life"?
Whatever happened to freedom and being left alone to live my life the way I chose? Why do I have to not only support but comply or contribute to other peoples ways of life even if Ive never knew them or even give two craps about what they do?
This applies to everything in this thread, I have no problem wearing a mask, I dont care, but to force a vaccine on someone is really pushing my limits. I understand that some people in society may be weak or have health problems. To that, I understand and I will do my best to stay away, but why is this my responsibility and not theirs? Why arent they wearing breathing apparatus, why arent they taking experimental drugs?

Haha, not a spelling error. I figured a good brain teaser and laugh would help with this discussion. But on topic of this discussion, not getting the shot but taking normal hygiene precautions and dealing with the face coverings.

Unless by the time I'm eligible to receive the vaccine it has proven to be ineffective or dangerous then of course I will be taking it as soon as it is available to me.
It's the responsible thing to do for the health and safety of myself, my family, and my fellow Americans.
Besides, I already paid for the damn shots!

Considering the Covid was very likely years in the brewing it does make a little sense how quickly the vaccine was released. If that is not the case I would be very reluctant at ANY age to get the vaccine this early on. If one is that concerned (yes I get why in some cases) I’d seriously try and hunker down for 2 to 3 more months and see how this pans out with the early on vaccinated.
The medical experts I’ve talked with agreed. “To early”. But in all reality who the fk knows.
One thing I do know is I will not be getting it. If things keep going how they at least appear to be how many series of vaccines will needed.
How might that itself affect the elderly and or weak immune individuals. Perhaps nothing at all. Just sayin.
